PURPOSE

To state the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas' requirement regarding the permissible distance that a medical resident may live from the hospital.

SCOPE Applies to all residents in graduate medical education programs of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas (the "Hospital")..
PROVISIONS

In order to be responsive to the Hospital, the medical staff, and our patients, residents are required to live within fifty (50) miles of the Hospital.

Requests to live more than fifty (50) miles from the hospital must be made in writing with reasons listed and are subject to approval or denial by the appropriate Program Director or his/her designee.
